  Research Notes:

Writing his will in 1808 Houghton Vivian left his son Matthew Vivian one shilling. Houghton appointed Matthew's son, Joseph, as sole executor of his will.

In 1813 Matthew Vivian of Gwennap was sole executor of the will of his late son Joseph Vivian.

In 1841 Mathew Vivian, aged 88, born in the county, Ind[ependent], was with (his daughter) Mary Halse and her family in Porth, Perranzabuloe, Cornwall.
