In 1841 Richard Vivian, aged about 45, born in the county, merchant, and wife Sally Vivian, aged about 50, born in the county, were living in King Street, St. Mary Truro, Cornwall. With them were daughters Sarah (15) and Selina (13).
In 1851 Richard Vivian, aged 58, born in Gwennap Cornwall, mine agent, and wife Sally Vivian, aged 64, born in Marazion Cornwall, were at Castle Hill, St. Mary, Truro. With them were daughters Sarah (25) of Lostwithiel, and Selina (23) of St. Austell.
In 1861 Richard Vivian, aged 68, born in Gwennap, clay merchant, and wife Sally Vivian, aged 74, born in Marazion, were in George St., Kenwyn, Cornwall. With them was daughter Sarah (35) of Lostwithiel.
In 1871 Richard Vivian, aged 78, born in Gwennap, widower, clay merchant, was in Wellington Place, Kenwyn. With him was daughter Sarah Vivian (45) of Lostwithiel, unmarried.
