In 1851 Selina Vivian, aged 23, born in St. Austell Cornwall, was with her parents at Castle Hill, Truro St. Mary, Cornwall.

In 1871 Selina Coad, aged 43, born in St. Austell, and husband Theophilus Coad, aged 36, born in Camborne Cornwall, mathematical instrument maker, were at 9 Pydar St., St. Mary Truro. With them was son Howard Vivian (4 months) of Truro.
