In 1841 John Tregoning, aged about 25, wife Margret, aged about 20 and son John (1) were living with the family of Richard and Jane White in Tregilsoe, St. Hilary [Margaret's parents].
In 1851 John Tregoning, aged 39, born in Camborne, farmer of 100 acres employing 5 labourers, and wife Margret, aged 38, born in St. Hillary, were living in Rosevidney, Ludgvan. Present were children (born in Budock): John J. (11), Richard (9), Henry (7), and Emily (2) of Ludgvan, and 4 servants.
