In 1861 Nanny Hichens, aged 45, born in Illogan Cornwall was with her brother Rihard Hitchens [sic], sampling agent, in Tregea House, Illogan.

In 1871 Nannie Hichens, aged 53, born in Illogan, unmarried, was companion to her cousin Elizabeth Hichens (75) of St. Ives, unmarried, annuitant, interest from houses, at 19 Castle St., Bodmin, Cornwall.
