On 9 May 1786 David Wise of Redruth, surgeon, was granted Administration of the goods &c of his grandmother Elizabeth Wise of Redruth, witnessed by Benjamin Hockin* and Hugh Phillips, both of Illogan. 2
* Benjamin Hockin was David's 1st cousin on his mother's side.
In December 1805 David Wise was present at the marriage of his daughter Grace to Richard Paull in Redruth.
In October 1807 David Wise was present at the marriage of his daughter Harriet to Donald Bain in Redruth.
