A burial record for John Wise cannot be found. His youngest child, Hannah, christened 29 Jan 1758 in Illogan, was buried there 15 September following, the register recording Hannah, daughter of Elizabeth Wise, widow.

Abstract of the Will of John Wise of the Parish of Illogan in the County of Cornwall, Yeoman, written 27 Nov 1753, proved 2 Dec 1775. 2

Gives 20 shillings to his son John Wise.

All the rest of his goods & chattels he gives to his wife Elizabeth Wise, appointing her sole executrix of his last will and testament.
