In 1851 Richd. Wise, aged 66, born in Redruth Cornwall, physician, member of Royal College of Surgeons (Edin.), and wife Mary A. Wise, aged 71, born in Eaton Bishop Hereford, were living in Broad Street, Penryn Cornwall.

In 1861 Richard Wise, aged 77, born in Redruth, M.D. (Edin.), retired, and wife Mary A. Wise, aged 82, born in Eaton Bishop, Hereford, were with their son Richard F. Wise, rector of Ladock, in Rectory, Ladock Cornwall.
