In 1828 Mary Hockin of Illogan, widow of Richard Hockin, was bequeathed £100 in the will of her sister-in-law Jane Hockin, spinster.
In 1851 Mary Hocking, aged 87, born in Camborne Cornwall, widow, annuitant, was living in Pool, Illogan. Mary's daughter Jane Treglown and her family were living nextdoor.
