In 1653 Dorothy was named as a beneficiary in her father's will, to receive £1,500.

In 1657 Dorothy Blagrave and her sister Rebecca Blagrave, then under age, were appointed co-executrices of their mother's will, under the trusteeship of their uncle Abraham Chapman.

In 1691 Dorothy Blagrave was a beneficiary of the will of her uncle Abraham Chapman.

Abstract of the Will of Dorothy Blagrave of Bulmarsh Court in the County of Berks, Spinster, written 7 Dec 1716, proved 1 Apr 1717. 6

Gives to each of her cousins Anthony Blagrave of Southcott, Esqr. and his wife, to Anthony's sister her cousin Breedon, and also to her cousins Mr. Anthony Blagrave of Bulmarsh, George Blagrave, Esqr, Mrs. Elizabeth Blagrave, and Mr. John Godfrey and his wife, a ring worth 20 shillings.

Gives £5 each to her cousin Mr. James Lybbe and to Mr. Bell who dwells at Mr. Kettlewell's.

Gives 2 guineas each to Mrs. Mary Kenton and Mrs. Bridget Emmett.

Gives 2 guineas each to Mrs. Margaret Butterous, Mrs. Ann Billinghurst wife of Mr. John Billinghurst, and Mrs. Levinia Thomas.

Gives 2 guineas to her maidservant.

Gives 1 guinea each to John and Oliver Blagrave, the sons of Oliver Blagrave.

Gives 20 shillings each to Gooddy Simons of Musterd Lane and Anne Dollery.

Gives a gold ring each to Lady Rich, Lady Swinborne, Lady Dashwood, Mrs. Vernon, Mrs. Frances Dalby, her cousin Gilbert Sheldon and his wife and two daughters and his two sisters, her cousin Reason and his wife and two daughters, her cousin William Gore, Esqr. of Barrow and his wife, Mrs. Sarah Reynolds of Chancery Lane, Mrs. Baskerville, and Mrs. Blagrave wife of Thomas Blagrave of Reading.

Gives to her friend John Gore, Esqr. a ring.

Gives £5 to the poor of the parish of Sonning in co. Berks.

Gives to her friend William Gore Esqr. of Monmouthshire but now of Tavistock Street Covent Garden all the money owing to her, and also her house in Devonshire Street, appointing him the executor of her will. After his decease she gives the said house to her cousin Elizabeth Blagrave.

Gives to the said William Gore the interest only on £600. After his decease, she divides the principal sum as follows: £100 each to her said cousins George Blagrave and Elizabeth Blagrave ; £50 to her said cousin Anne the wife of John Godfrey ; £100 each to Anne Blagrave and Jane Blagrave, daughters of her cousin Anthony Blagrave of Southcott ; £50 to her said cousin Breedon if she is still a widow when her executor William Gores dies, otherwise, to her cousin Dorothy Blagrave of Southcott ; £20 to her cousin Mrs. Blagrave of Southcott ; £20 to her cousin John Blagrave of Southcott, when he turns eighteen, so he can buy a horse ; £20 to her cousin Anthony Blagrave of Bulmarsh if he survives her said executor, otherwise, she gives the same to his daughter Dorothy Blagrave.

Appoints her cousin Anthony Blagrave of Southcott the executor of her last will and testament immediately following the death of her other executor, William Gore, to whom she gives the rest of her goods & chattels.
