In 1901 Annie E. Dixon, aged 27, born in Bermondsey, and husband Edgar J. Dixon, aged 35, born in Guernsey, board school teacher, were living at 21 Elderfield Rd., Hackney with daughters Winifred A. (4) and Agnes M. (1), both born in Clapton. Annie's brother Alfred G. Mace and his family were living nextdoor.

In 1911 Annie Emily Dixon, aged 37, born in Bermondsey, and husband of 15 years Edgar John Dixon, aged 45, born in St. Peter Port Guernsey, were living at 31 Elderfield Rd., Hackney with children Winifrede Annie (14), school, Agnes Maria (11), school, Lawrence Walter (9), school, Rita Mary (6), and Hilda Agatha (2).
