In 1718 Humphry Bartholmew was named as a beneficiary in his father's will. In 1722 Humphry became co-executor with his brothers Philip and Leonard of their father's will following the death of their mother in 1721.
In 1730 Humphry Bartholmew was a beneficiary of the will of his brother Philip Bartholmew of Oxenhoath, Esq.

"Near this place are deposited the remains of Humphrey Bartholomew, M.D., youngest son of Leonard Bartholomew, Esq., and Elizh. his wife, late of Oxonhoath, in this county, who departed this life the 15th day of December, 1764. Gives £100 to the governors and trustees of St. Thomas Hospital in the borough of Southwark, co. Surrey.
Gives £100 to Mr. Samuel Pearce, late apothecary to the said hospital.
Gives £100 each to his nephew Leonard Bartholomew of Oxenheath and niece Mary wife of Captain Francis Geary, to buy themselves mourning.
Made bequests to his servants (amount illegible).
Gives an annuity of £10 to his maid servant Margaret Dunkin.
Gives to his nephew Leonard Bartholomew, son of his late brother Leonard Bartholomew of Addington, Esquire, his manors, lands, tenements & hereditaments, in trust, along with all the rest of his goods, chattels and personal estate, appointing him sole executor of his last will and testament.
