In 1851 Phillippa Wearne, aged 31, born in Gwinear Cornwall, and husband James Wearne, aged 41, born in St. Ives Cornwall, General Practitioner, M.R.C.S, L.A.C., were living in Meneage St., Helston, Cornwall. With them were children (born in Helston) James (10), scholar, Vivian (9), scholar, Charlotte (8), scholar, Walter (6), scholar, Ernest (1 month), and visitors Emily Vivian (19) of Gwinear, unmarried, merchant's daughter, and George C. Vivian (18) of Gwinear, unmarried, merchant's son.

In 1861 Philippa Wearne, aged 41, born in Gwinner Cornwall, and husband Jas. Wearne, aged 51, born in St. Ives, Mayor of the Borough, General Practitioner, were living in .Meneage St., Helston, Cornwall. With them were children (born in Helston) Walter (16), Philippa (18), Ernest (10), and Edwyn (6).

In 1871 Phillippa Wearne, aged 52, born in Gwinear, surgeon's widow, was living in Meneage St., Helston. With her were children (born in Helston, unmarried) Vivian (29), assistant surgeon (Army), Walter (26), General Practitioner R.C.S. & L.S., Ernest (20), solicitor's articled clerk, and Edwyn (16), scholar.

Phillippa married James Wearne, son of Roger Wearne and Honor Geen, on 2 Jul 1839 in Gwinear, Cornwall. (James Wearne was born in 1809 in St. Ive, Cornwall, christened 19 Nov 1809 in St. Ive, Cornwall, died on 14 Feb 1870 in Helston, Cornwall and was buried on 18 Feb 1870 in Helston, Cornwall, aged 60 years.)
