In 1721 Francis Hills was a beneficiary of the will of his sister Mary Hill of Wendron, who left him £20.
In January 1732/3 Francis Hill and his brother John Hill renounced Administration of the goods &c of their brother Sampson Hill of Trenethick, Esq.

Lease from 1) to 2) of all those fields commonly called the Gumpas containing 4 and a half acres and a little long meadow commonly called William Harris's Meadow containing three quarters of an acre, part of the Barton of Besore alias Bedow [Bissoe], Perranarworthal.
Consideration: in pursuance of a trust reposed in them by Sampson Hill, esquire, of Trenethick and Jonathan Hill, gentleman his son, since deceased and £57 10 shillings paid to John Hill.

Gives to his kinsman Ch: Trelawney, Esqr, various items including ten guinea pieces of gold and four 'scepter' pieces of old gold, and a ring and gloves for mourning.
Gives to his son John Hill all the goods his daughter bought for him in Plymouth, amounting to £10 10s. in value, as well as a ring and a pair of gloves.
Gives a ring and gloves to a list of people, including Mrs. Etisey, Francis Calmady, Esqr, Mr. Andrew Mayow, Mrs. Spurrell, parson Hickes, Mr. Poane, and Mr. Ruddell.
Gives his gown to Mr. Mayow.
Gives his old red coat to the carpenter.
Gives his gardener his black coat and vest.
Gives to his butler all his stockings and black broad cloth breeches.
Desires to be buried in a private ceremony at the Monhinite [Menheniot] Church near to Major Trelawney.
Appoints his daughter Frances Hill sole executrix of his last will and testament.
Gives 20 shillings to the cook maid and 10 shillings to the chambermaid.
