Parties:

1) John Hill, gentleman, of Helstone [Helston]
2) Athanasius Pryor, yeoman, of Wendron.

Agreement that 1) will grant to 2) a lease of three lives of the tenement of Carnbellack, Wendron. The present tenant can remain until next Ladyday under the present rent if he wishes.

Consideration: £140, half to be paid at time of sealing and half to be paid at the Christide following.

Lives: to be named by 1) next Christide.

Rent: 20 shillings.

In 1721 John Hill, gent. was the sole executor of the will of his sister Mary Hill of Wendron, gentlewoman.

In January 1732/3 John Hill and his brother Francis Hill renounced Administration of the goods &c of their brother Sampson Hill of Trenethick, Esq.

Parties:

1) Sir Francis Vyvyan, baronet, of Trelowarren; John Hill, gentleman, of Helston and Francis Hill, gentleman, of Plymouth
2) Ralph Jory, yeoman, of Gwennap

Lease from 1) to 2) of all those fields commonly called the Gumpas containing 4 and a half acres and a little long meadow commonly called William Harris's Meadow containing three quarters of an acre, part of the Barton of Besore alias Bedow [Bissoe], Perranarworthal.

Consideration: in pursuance of a trust reposed in them by Sampson Hill, esquire, of Trenethick and Jonathan Hill, gentleman his son, since deceased and £57 10 shillings paid to John Hill.

To be buried in Wendron near his family.

Gives rings and gloves to his bearers.

Gives £5 to the poor of the parish of Wendron.

Gives £3 to the poor of Helston.

Gives £3 to the poor of South Hill.

Gives £3 per annum to teach ten poor children of Wendron to read the bible.

Gives an annuity of £20 to his elder brother Sampson Hill, Esqr for life, to be paid out of his tenement of Tremenheere in Wendron.

Gives £5 to his sister-in-law Mrs. Honor Hill.

Gives £5 to his sister-in-law Mrs. Marseitte Hill.

Gives to his nephew Mr. Harry Hill, son of his brother Mr. Francis Hill, a tenement of land called Bodilly Veor in the parish of Wendron.

Gives £500 to his niece Mrs. Frances Hill, daughter of his brother Mr. Francis Hill, along with all his china ware.

Gives to his brother Mr. Francis Hill his lands, tenements and hereditaments in the several parishes of Wendron, Perranarworthal, Kea, Redruth, Gwennap, Penryn, South Hill, Callington, St. Ewe, Linkinhorne, Stoke Climsland, Gerrans and elsewhere, which were formerly the lands of Sampson Hill Esqr his said brother. After the death of his brother Francis Hill he gives the same to his nephew John Hill and his heirs male.

Gives an annuity of £3 to his cousin John Hill of Egloshayle, and to John's daughter he gives £5.

Gives £3 to the daughter of his cousin John Mayowe.

Gives 1 guinea to his cousin Mary Penhallow to buy her a ring.

Gives 1 guinea to John Pearce son of Nicholas Pearce deceased.

Gives 1 guinea to Richard Bodilly.

Gives £4 to Mrs. Abigael Row.

Gives gloves to all his tenants.

Gives 2 guineas to each of his godchildren to buy them rings.

Gives 1 guinea to Mr. Francis Hoskins to buy him a ring, and to his wife, son and daughter Mary he gives £5 each.

Gives annuities of 30 shillings each the two reputed daughters of his cousin William Hill.

Gives 20 shillings each to his servants and 10 shillings to each of his yearly servants.

Gives to his nephew John Hill and his heirs his lands, tenements and hereditaments in the parish of Wendron and borough of Helston. In default of issue, he gives the same to his nephew Harry Hill.

All the rest of his goods and chattels, rights and credits, he gives to his said nephew John Hill, appointing him sole executor of his last will and testament.

In a codicil dated 30 May 1732 he gives to the two maiden daughters of his cousin John Hill £20 each. He also gives £5 to Richard Bodilly.
