  Research Notes:

In 1653 Joane daughter of Vincent Short was bequeathed 30 shillings in the will of her grandfather Thomas Short of Wootton Bassett, gent.

In 1674 Joane was named as a beneficiary in her father's nuncupative will, then unmarried.

In 1704 Joane Gallimore wife of John Gallimore of Wootton Bassett, Gentleman, was the sole executrix and residuary legatee of her mother's Will.

Writing her Will in April 1710 Christian Bennett of Rodborough in co. Gloucester, widow, bequeathed £50 to her sister Joane Gallimore.
