At the time of the 1891 England Census Harriet A Bray, aged 24, born in Charlwood Surrey, was with her father and his wife in Engleside, Charlwood Surrey.

At the time of the 1901 England Census Harriet E Brown, aged 34, born in Charlwood Surrey, and husband Edward T Brown, aged 37, born in Ifield Sussex, florist & market gardener (own account), were living in Brighton Rd., Horley Surrey. With them was son Eric H (1) of Horley.

At the time of the 1911 England Census Harriett Elen Brown, aged 45, born in Charlwood Surrey (mother of 2 children), and husband of 12 years Edward T Brown, aged 47, born in Ifield Sussex, florist & nurseryman (employer), were living in Victoria Rd., Horley Surrey.
