In 1901 Cecil A. Chard, aged 14, born in Falmouth Cornwall, was with his parents at 1 Waterloo Place, Falmouth.

In 1911 Cecil Chard, aged 24, born in Falmouth, single, shipwright, was boarding with his sister Louisa West and her family at 21 Tounshend Ave., Keyham, Devonport, Devon.

In June 1919 Cecil Albany Chard was present at the marriage of his brother Charles to Rose Johns in Mawnan Cornwall.

In 1921 Cecil Chard, aged 34 years 5 months, born in Falmouth, cycle dealer (own account) and wife Lily Chard, aged 27 years 7 months, born in Durgan Cornwall, home duties, were living at 21 Killigrew Rd, Falmouth. With them were children Leon (7y 2m) of Devonport, Raymond (1y 7m) of Falmouth, and Joan (4m) of Falmouth.

In the 1939 Register Cecil A Chard (b. 3 Jan 1887), foreman public works marine mechanic driver, and wife Lily Chard (b. 5 Nov 1893), unpaid domestic duties, were living at 11 Florence Place, Falmouth. At the same address were (children, single) Raymond B Chard (b. 13 Nov 1920)*, newspaper reporter, journalist, Joan Chard (b. 7 Feb 1922)*, unpaid domestic duties.

Per the GROE birth index, their birth years were 1919 and 1921 respectively.
