Abstract of the Will of Christopher Deering of Mayfield in the County of Sussex, Yeoman, written 10 Dec 1729, proved 21 Feb 1730. 3

Gives and bequeaths £120 to his only daughter Elizabeth, to be paid to her when she turns twenty-one. Additionally he gives her his best bed and its furniture, his chest of drawers, and a pair of his best sheets.

Gives and bequeaths a guinea to Susan Taylor of Heathfield, widow.

All the rest of his estate he gives & bequeaths to his son Christopher Dearing whom he makes sole executor of his last will and testament.
