In 1766 Margery Philp was a beneficiary of her mother's will, receiving £30, her best round table, her clothing and a silver spoon marked J.L.
In 1811 Margery Brown the wife of William Brown was a beneficiary of the will of her sister Joanna Brown of St. Kew, widow, who left her £5 and bequeathed 2 guineas each to Margery's children Prudence Scott, Margarett Moyle, Jane & William Brown.
