In 1775 Margaret Pender was named as a beneficiary in the will of her grandfather John Pender of Penzance, to receive £300 when she turns twenty-one.
In 1803 Margaret Paynter wife of Francis Paynter of Trekening in co. Cornwall, attorney-at-law, was a beneficiary of the will of her aunt Constance Warner, widow, who left her £500.
