In 1851 William Pearce, aged 40, born in Mylor Cornwall, carpenter, and wife Margaret, aged 37, born in Gwennap Cornwall, were living in Mill Lane Mylor. With them was daughter Mary A. (14) of Gwennap. William's widowed mother and brother Alfred were living nextdoor.

In January 1854 William Pearce was present at the marriage of his sister Elizabeth Pearce to Samuel George Thomas in Mylor Cornwall.

In 1861 William Pearce, aged 51, born in Mylor Cornwall, carpenter, and wife Margaret, aged 47, born in Gwennap Cornwall, were living in Mylor Bridge, Mylor. With them was daughter Mary A. (24) of Gwennap.

In 1871 William Pearse, aged 61, born in Mylor Cornwall, carpenter, and wife Margaret, aged 56, born in Gwenap Cornwall, were living in Mylor Bridge, Mylor. With them was daughter Marianne (34) of Gwenap, milliner.

In 1891 William Pearce, aged 81, born in Mylor Cornwall, widower, house carpenter, was living in Mylor Bridge, Mylor. With him were daughter Marianne (54) of Gwennap, single, milliner, and sister Emmaline Pearce (67) of Mylor, single, living on her own means.
