With them were daughters Gladys Violet Mary (6y 2m) and Joan Winifred (1y 2m), both born in St. Marylebone.
In the 1939 Register Johnson J Ellery (b. 30 May 1887), civil service, Inland Revenue, Somerset House, and wife Violet G Ellery (b. 6 Feb 1888), unpaid domestic duties, were living at 120 Fleetwood Road, Willesden.
