In 1851 Elisha Ralph, aged 39, born in Gwennap Cornwall, mine agent, and wife Elizabeth Ralph, aged 34, born in Gwennap, were living in Cross, Camborne, Cornwall. With them were children Elisha (14) of Gwennap, scholar, Josiah (13) of Gwennap, blacksmith, William M. (7) of Camborne, scholar, and Thomas (6) of Camborne, scholar.
In 1853 Elisha Ralph was named in the will of his brother-in-law Francis Ralph of Carharrack (husband of Elisha's sister Ann).
In 1861 Elisha Ralph, aged 49, born in Gwennap, mine agent tin & copper, and wife Elizabeth Ralph, aged 45, born in Gwennap, were living in Gwennap. With them were children (a) born in Gwennap: William Michell (18), carpenter, and (b) born in Camborne: Francis Vivian (15), scholar, Thomas Michell (10), scholar, and Elizabeth Hodge (7). Visiting was (Elisha's mother) Elizabeth Ralph (89) of Gwennap, widow.
