  Research Notes:

In 1841 Henry Vivian, aged about 30, born in the county, engineer, and wife Nanny Vivian, aged about 20, born in the county, were living in Velansaundry, Camborne, Cornwall. With them was son Henry (1).

In 1851 Henry Vivian, aged 41, born in Camborne, engineer [in a] C[opper] M[ine], and [second] wife Elizabeth Vivian, aged 23, born in Phillack Cornwall, were living in Angarrack. With them were sons (born in Camborne): Henry (11), to school, John (8), to school.

In 1861 Henry Vivian, aged 52, born in Camborne, engineer, and wife Elizth. Vivian, aged 33, born in Phillack, were living in Angarrack, Phillack. With them were children Henry (21), engineman, and John (19), copper miner, both born in Camborne, Julia A. (10), scholar, Mary E. (9), scholar, Jane T. (2), scholar, all born in Phillack.

Daughters Julia Ann Vivian died in 1864 aged 14 years, and Jane Tremayne Vivian died in 1867 aged 9 years.

In 1871 Henry Vivian, aged 62, born in Camborne, engine driver, and wife Elizabeth Vivian, aged 43, born in Phillack, were in Angarrack, Phillack. With them were children: John (28) of Camborne, fitter, Mary E. (19) of Phillack, dressmaker, Johnson (5) of Phillack, scholar.

In 1881 Henry Vivian, aged 72, born in Phillack [sic], engine man, and wife Elizabeth Vivian, aged 52, born in Phillack, were in Angarrack Village, Phillack, Cornwall. Present was son Johnson (15). of Phillack
