In 1911 Jane Vivian, aged 37, born in Hayle (mother of 9 children, 1 deceased), and husband of 37 years John Vivian, aged 67, born in Camborne, engineer's fitter, were living in Bodriggy St., Hayle. With them were children (born in Hayle, single) Grace Lobb (29), school teacher, Frederick (19), errand boy, and Mary Ellen (15), mother's help.

In 1921 Jane Vivian, aged 73 years 8 months, born in Phillack, home duties, and husband John Vivian, aged 77 years 10 months, born in Camborne, engineer's fitter (retired), were living in Bodriggy, Hayle. With them were children (born in Phillack, single) Minnie (37y 2m), home duties, Frederick (30y 1m), general labourer, and Nellie (25y 6m), dressmaker.
