In 1901 Eliza Jane Sims, aged 54, born in Camborne, and husband Henry Sims, aged 50, born in Camborne, mine carpenter, were in Bolenowe, Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne) Simon D. (24), tin miner, William (19), tin dresser, and Lilian (15).
In 1911 Eliza Jane Sims, aged 64, born in Troon, Camborne, widow (mother of 4 children), was living in Bolenowe, Camborne. With her were children (born in Camborne, single) William (29), tin dresser, and Lilian (25).

TROON NOTES.
An old and respectable resident of the district passed away on Monday last in the person of Mrs. Eliza Jane Sims, relict of the late Mr. Henry Sims of Bolenowe. Deceased who was 66 years of age was for many years a member of the Bolenowe Wesleyan Church and was well known and much respected. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon at the Troon Cemetery amidst every token of respect. Mr. Mark Harris officiated. The chief mourners were Mr. Simon Davies Sims (son), Mrs. Arthur Sims (daughter-in-law), Mr. William Sims (son), Mrs. Simon D. Sims (daughter-in-law), Masters Redvers, William Henry and Arthur Sims (grandsons), Mr. Fred Uren, Mr. Simon Davies, Mr. John Davies (nephews), Mr. John Stoneman (uncle), Mr. John Dennis (cousin). The coffin was of pitchpine with brass fittings and the breastplate was inscribed, "Eliza Jane Sims, died September 15th 1913, aged 66 years." Mr. W. Trevithick was undertaker.
