In 1891 Henry Sims, aged 40, born in Camborne, tin miner, and wife Eliza J. Sims, aged 43, born in Camborne, were living in Bolenowe, Camborne. With them were children Henry (16), tin miner, Simon D. (15), tin miner, Lillian (5), scholar, William (9), scholar.
In 1901 Henry Sims, aged 50, born in Camborne, mine carpenter, and wife Eliza Jane Sims, aged 54, born in Camborne, were in Bolenowe, Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne) Simon D. (24), tin miner, William (19), tin dresser, and Lilian (15).

FUNERAL.—The funeral of Mr. Henry Sims, aged 58, of Bolenowe, who died on Wednesday, took place at Troon Cemetery on Saturday. The was a large attendance, deceased being connected with the Wesleyan Church of that place since its formation, and Sunday school secretary for 22 years. The Rev. Wm. Milburn Briggs officiated. Following were the chief mourners:—Messrs. Arthur, Davies, and Wm. Sims (sons), Lilian Sims (daughter), Mrs. Arthur Sims (daughter-in-law), Mrs. Davies Sims (daughter-in-law), Messrs. S. and F. Uren (nephews), Mr. John Stoneman (uncle), Mr. Charles Davies (brother-in-law), Mr. Thos. Davies (brother-in-law), Mr. John Dennis (cousin), Messrs. E. J. and J. Dennis (cousins), Mr. W. P. Dennis (cousin), and Mr. Thomas Eddy (friend). The bearers were carpenters from Dolcoath mine, where deceased was an employe for some number of years.
