A VERY PRETTY WEDDING was solemnized at Penponds church on Saturday morning last, the contracting parties being Mr. Frederick Thomas of Roseworthy, and Miss Elizabeth Ann (Annie) Jeffree, only daughter of the late Mr. Richard Jeffree of Roseworthy. The bride has for some years been a member of the Wesleyan choir at Roseworthy. The Rev. Sims Carah officiated. The bride, who was given away by her uncle, Mr. William Jeffree, was charmingly dressed in a costume of blue shot Sicilian, trimmed with white silk and pale blue chiffon with white chiffon hat. Miss Irene Jeffree (cousin of the bride) and Miss Christiana Wallish (niece of the bridegroom) were the bridesmaids and looked very pretty in white dresses with hats to match. The bride's mother was present at the ceremony and was most becomingly attired in a gown of black satin and lace. The guests at the wedding breakfast included Mr. and Mrs. R. Jeffree (grandparents of the bride), Mr. and Mrs. William Jeffree, Mr. and Mrs. Kneebone, Mrs. William Mead, Mr. John Thomas, Mr. John Jeffree, Masters Sydney Thomas and Albert Jeffree....
