In 1891 Bennet Johns, aged 29, born in Camborne Cornwall, mine engine driver, and wife Ellen Johns, aged 29, born in Crowan Cornwall, were with Ellen's widowed mother Rachel Faull (74) of Crowan, in Beacon, Camborne. With them were children Mabel Johns (4), scholar, and Ellen J. Johns (2), both born in Camborne.
In 1911 Bennett Johns, aged 49, born in Camborne, pumping engine driver, and wife of 29 years Ellen Johns, aged 49, born in Crowan (mother of 9 children, 3 deceased), were living at 147 Ealing Rd, Brentford, Middlesex. With them were children Ellen Jane (22) of Camborne, dressmaker, Edward (19) of Camborne, coal merchant's clerk, Ruby (15) of Camborne, at home, and Bennett Aubrey (10) of Brentford, at school.
