In 1851 Hester Waters, aged 32, born in Crowan Cornwall, and husband Stephen Waters, aged 35, born in Crowan, carpenter, were living in Troon, Camborne. With them were children Hester Jane (11) of Crowan, Margret (7) of Camborne, scholar, Mary Ann (4) of Camborne, scholar, William John (10 m) of Camborne, and husband's brother Samuel Waters (19) of Crowan, carpenter.
In January 1859 Hester Waters, widow, was granted Letters of Administration of the personal estate and effects of her late husband. Hester left his goods &c unadministered. Administration was re-granted in 1872 to her daughter Margaret.
In 1861 Hester Watters, aged 42, born in Crowan, widow, school teacher, was living in Troon, Camborne. With her were daughters (born in Camborne) Margret (17) and Maryann (4), scholar.
In 1871 Hester Watters, aged 49, born in Crowan, widow, meat seller, was living in Troon, Camborne. With her was daughter Mary Ann (15) of Camborne, dressmaker.
