Abstract of the Will of Richard Grenvile of Wotton Underwood in the County of Bucks, Esquire, written 30 Dec 1665, proved 5 Apr 1666. 6

Gives £2,000 to his wife Ellinor, as well as an annuity of £100. He also gives her all his household stuff at his house in Fleet Street, London (except his two iron chests), his coach and two coach horses, a saddle, all his corn and grain, hay, dairy cows, sheep, firewood, &c. and the use of his manor house at Wotton during her widowhood, after which the same shall pass to his son Richard once he turns twenty-five.

Appoints Sir Peter Tyrrell, Baronet, Sir Richard Piggott, Knt., and Sir Timothy Tyrrell, Knt., co-executors and trustees of his last will, giving them each £10 to buy mourning. He directs his trustees to pay to his son Richard such allowances as they see fit until he turns twenty-one, and then £300 per annum until he reaches the age of twenty-five years. And if his son Richard should die before turning twenty-five without issue, then he directs his executors to manage his estate for the benefit of his nephew George Grenvile....

(Anne Borlase was born in 1618 in Medmenham, Buckinghamshire, England and was buried on 30 Jan 1646/7 in Wotton Underwood, Buckinghamshire, England.)
