In 1595 Jone was co-executor of her husband's will.

In 1612 Johan Manington became a beneficiary of the will of her uncle John Hender of Botreaux Castle in Minster, who left her an annuity of £4 over three years towards the maintenance of her son Anthony while at Oxford.

Abstract of the Will of Johan Mannaton of the Parish of Callington in the County of Cornwall, Widow, written 16 Feb 1608/9, proved 30 Apr 1617. 3

Gives a sheep each to every one of the household of John Crabbe.

Forgives her son[-in-law?] Richard Martyn the debt he owes her.

Gives to Jeffrye Collyn her bed, bedstead and associated furniture, and six silver spoons.

Gives 10 shillings to her daughter? Elizabeth.

Gives 5 shillings to Anthony Collyn.

All the rest of her goods she gives to her son-in-law John Crabbe, appointing him sole executor of her last will and testament.

An inventory of the goods and chattels of Johan Mannaton, widow, were taken and appraised on 26 Apr 1617 by John Leyne and John Grills. Sum-total: £41 18s. 4d.

  Marriage Information:

Joane married Henry Manington, son of Sampson Manington of Manington and Alice Tremayne. (Henry Manington died on 24 Apr 1595 in South Hill, Cornwall.)
