In 1841 Stephen Terrill, aged about 40, born in the county, copper miner, and wife Maryan Terrill, aged 35, born in the county, were living in Bolennow Croft, Camborne. With them were children Eliza (15), mine girl, Stephen (10), copper mine boy, Maryan (9), mine girl, William (7), Diana (2), and independent Mary Richards (70).

FATAL MINE ACCIDENT.—On Tuesday, the 12th instant, a miner, named Stephen Terril, was at work in one of the levels at Condurrow Mine, when the stull overhead gave way, and before he could be got out, life was extinct. He has left a numerous family to lament their loss.

FATAL MINE ACCIDENT.—One day last week, a miner called Stephen Terrill, met his death at Condurrow mine, in consequence of a "stull" over his head having given way and buried him. The poor man was alive for some considerable time after the accident, but before the stull could possibly be cleared away, he expired. He has left a wife and several children.
