  Research Notes:

In 1851 James Trythell, aged 28, born in Camborne Cornwall, and wife Celin Trythell, aged 22, born in Chaddle [Chudleigh] Devonshire, dressmaker, were living in Longsdon Staffordshire. With them were children Celin (2) of Teignmouth Devon, and James (6? m) of Leek Staffordshire.

In 1861 James Trythall, aged 38, born in Camborne, working engineer (waterworks), and wife Celia Trythall, aged 32, born in Chudleigh Devon, were at Waterworks, Endon, Staffordshire. With them were children (born in Longsdon Staffs) Celia M (12), scholar, James (10), scholar, Kate (8), scholar, and Charles H. (5), scholar. (James's brother Anthony and his family were nextdoor.)

In 1871 James Trythall, aged 48, born in Camborne, engineer at waterworks, and wife Celia Trythall, aged 42, born in Teignmouth Devon, were at No. 1 Waterworks, Longsdon, Staffs. With them were children James (20), assistant engine driver at Waterworks, Kate (18) and Arthur B. (5), all born in Leek. (James's brother Anthony and his family were nextdoor at No. 2 Waterworks.)

In November 1871 James Trythall the Elder of the Waterworks near Cheddleton in the county of Stafford, engineer, was granted Administration of the effects of his late father.

In 1881 James Trythall, aged 58, born in Camborne, manager of the Water Works, and wife Celia Trythall, aged 52, born in Teignmouth, were living at Wall Grange House, Leek, Staffordshire. Present was son Charles H. (25) of Leek, unmarried, house & estate agent. (James's brother Anthony and his family were at the same address.)

The Will with a codicil of James Trythall formerly of the Waterworks Leek in the county of Stafford but late of 23 Parker-road Croydon in the county of Surrey, who died 10 December 1890 at 23 Parker-road, was proved 14 January 1891 at the Principal Registry by Charles Heaton Trythall of Black Park Wall Grange Stoke-on-Trent in the county of Stafford, engineer, the son, one of the executors. Personal estate £141 18s. 5d. 3

  Marriage Information:

James married Celia Tuckett, daughter of Eli Tuckett and Maria Shapter, on 31 Oct 1847 in West Teignmouth, Devon, England. (Celia Tuckett was born about 1829 in Chudleigh, Devon, England and died on 14 Apr 1890 at 23 Parker Rd., Croydon, Surrey, England, aged 61 years.)
