Writing her Will in August 1759 Catherine Hulbert, widow, names as a beneficiary her grandson Charles Cruse, eldest son of her daughter Jane Cruse.

Son William, christened in Wootton Bassett on 15 Mar 1784, died there aged 21 years according to the Register, buried 28 Sep 1805.
