In 1881 Edwin Cock, aged 20, born in Breage Cornwall, sailor, was with his parents in Rinsey Lane, Breage.

In 1891 Edwin Cock, aged 29, born in Rinsey Breage, tin miner, and wife Annie, aged 32, born in Germoe Cornwall, were living in Trewithic, Breage. Present were children: Edith A. (8) of Michigan USA, scholar, George H. (6) of Michigan, USA, scholar, Mary (4) of Rinsey, scholar, William E. (3) of Rinsey, scholar, sister-in-law Charlotte Richards (27) of Germoe, single, domestic servant.

In 1901 Edwin was not with his family. Annie Cock, aged 42, born in Germoe, married, charwoman, was living at 51 Wendron St., Helston, Cornwall. With her were children George Henry (16) of America, mortar mason, and born in Breage: Mary Jane (14), William Edward Garfield (13), Frederick Norman (5), and Edwin Harold Seymore (4).
