On 17 May 1798 Jane Hockin was granted Administration of the personal effects of her late brothers Charles Hockin and Benjamin Hockin.

In 1801 Jane Hockin became a beneficiary of her mother's will, receiving £10.

In March 1816 Jane Hockin was a witness to the will of her brother Richard Hocking of Tregajorran.

Abstract of the Will of Jane Hockin of the Parish of Illogan in the County of Cornwall, Spinster, written 15 Feb 1828, proved 11 Jun 1828. 2

Gives £100 to Mary Hockin of Illogan, widow of Richard Hockin.

Gives £50 to William Richards, mine agent of Redruth.

Gives £50 to her niece Grace the wife of Wm Sincock of Illogan.

Gives £50 to her niece Jane wife of George Treglown of Illogan, shopkeeper.

Gives £20 each to her to two nieces Anna Millett & Elizabeth Millett, daughters of the late Robert Millett, chandler.

Gives £100 to her sister Blanch Hichens, widow.

All the rest of her goods and chattels she gives to her nephew Benjamin Hockin of Illogan, farmer.

Appoints the said William Richards and the said Benjamin Hockin co-executors of her will.
