Abstract of the Will of James Cruttenden of Bexhill in the County of Sussex, Labourer, written 13 Feb 1810, proved 10 Jun 1816. 3
Gives and devises to his wife Mercy his copyhold tenement with the garden and backside located in little Common in Bexhill, for the term of her natural life. Thereafter he gives and devises the same to James Crowhurst, son of John Crowhurst*, bricklayer, by his wife Sarah*.
All the rest and residue of his personal property he gives and bequeaths to his wife Mercy.
Appoints his friend the said John Crowhurst* sole executor of his last will and testament.
