Thomas son of Philip Higham of Loose, laborer, and Mary Ann (baptismal record).
Generally called Thomas Highams; however, in some records he is referred to as Thomas William Highams (noting this was the name of his eldest son). The GROE death index appears to be the only source in which he is called Thomas Philip Highams.
