In the 1939 Register John H Chard (b. 22 Jul 1894), Falmouth Pilots Service, and wife Caroline Chard (b. 5 Feb 1895), house wife, were living at "West Haven" Melvilla Crescent, Falmouth. At the same address was (son) John Chard (b. 29 Aug 1928), at school.
