In 1881 Joseph Pearce, aged 56, born in Mylor, master mariner, and wife Sarah, aged 49, born in West Mersea, sea captain's wife, were living in Tregatreath, Mylor, Cornwall. Present were children (born in Mylor): Robert (25), boot and shoe maker, Archibald (17), tailor's apprentice, Norman (14), scholar, Arthur (12), scholar, Harry (9), scholar, niece Margaret Pearce (25) of St. Feock, general servant.
In 1891 Joseph Pearce, aged 66, born in Mylor, master mariner, and wife Sarah Pearce, aged 59, born in West Mersea, were living in Alexandra Cottage, Tregatreath, Mylor. With them were children (born in Mylor, all unmarried): Robert (35), shoemaker, Norman (24), mariner, Arthur (22), mariner, and Harry (19), carpenter's apprentice.
In 1901 Joseph Pearce, aged 76, born in Mylor, master mariner, and wife Sarah Pearce, aged 69, born in West Mersea, were living in Tregatreath, Mylor, Cornwall. With them was son Robert (45) of Mylor, shoemaker.
