In 1826 William Henry Dunstan was a beneficiary of the will of his maternal grandmother Phillis Tregidgeon of Falmouth, widow, who left him £20.

In 1841 William Henry Dunstan, aged about 20, carpenter, was with his parents in Back? Hill, Falmouth Cornwall.

In 1851 William H. Dunstan, aged 30, born in Falmouth Cornwall, carpenter, and wife Annie, aged 32, born in Morval Cornwall, were living in Bunny Hill, Falmouth. With them were children (born in Falmouth) John (4), scholar, and Annie (3).

In 1861 William Henry Dunstan, aged 40, born in Falmouth Cornwall, builder employing 4 men, and wife Annie, aged 44, born in Morvah Cornwall, were living in Chapel Row, Falmouth Cornwall. With them were children (born in Falmouth) Annie (12), scholar, James Quick (8), scholar, and Mary (6), scholar.

In December 1866 William Henry Dunstan of Falmouth, builder, was granted Letters of Administration of the goods and effects of his late father.

In 1871 Wm Hy Dunstan, aged 49, born in Falmouth Cornwall, supert. ship building yd., and wife Annie, aged 50, born in Morva Cornwall, were living at 24 Wellington Terrace, Falmouth. With them were children (born in Falmouth) James (18), engine fitter, Mary (16), domestic servant, and mother Hannah Dunstan (85) of Falmouth, widow.

In 1881 Willm. Hy Dunstan, aged 60, born in Falmouth Cornwall, retired builder, and wife Annie, aged 62, born in Morva Cornwall, were living in Wellington Terrace, Falmouth. Present were daughters (born in Falmouth) Annie (28), and Mary Eliza (26).

In 1891 William H. Dunstan, aged 70, born in Falmouth Cornwall, retired builder, and wife Annie, aged 76, born in Morva Cornwall, were living at 26 Budock Terrace, Falmouth. With them were daughters (born in Falmouth, single) Annie (40) and Mary (35).

William married Annie Ustick Quick, daughter of John Quick and Mary Ustick, in 1844 in the Penzance District, Cornwall. (Annie Ustick Quick was christened 29 Aug 1814 in Morvah, Cornwall and was buried on 5 Apr 1902 in Falmouth, Cornwall, aged 88 years.)
