Seigneur Erard I DE CHACENAY croisé

   General Notes:

ERARD [II] (-1190 or after). According to Europäische Stammtafeln, Erard [II] was the possible son of Thomas de Chacenay... However, until disproved by further information from other primary sources, it appears more likely that he was the same person as Erard [I], whose wife's name was recorded as Mathilde. This is chronologically consistent with Mathilde having been the daughter of Clémence de Bourgogne, who was born in 1117.

   Marriage Information:

Erard married Mathilde-Félicité DE DONZY, daughter of Hervé III DE DONZY seigneur de Donzy and Clémence DE BOURGOGNE Dame de Donzy.
