There were two John Harrises with families in Mawnan during the 1690s and 1710s—John Harris & Mary (Dowrick) married in 1692 in the neighbouring parish of St. Just in Roseland, and John Harris & Margaret (Marks), married in 1693 in Mawnan. The latter John Harris left a will proved in 1734. John Harris who married Mary would therefore have been buried in Mawnan on either 10 Mar 1706/7, the year following the birth of his youngest child, or on 20 Jul 1737.

  Marriage Information:

John married Mary Dowrack on 31 Dec 1692 in St. Just in Roseland, Cornwall. (Mary was born about 1668 and was buried on 11 Nov 1733 in Mawnan, Cornwall.)
