In 1841 William Tremain, aged 26, ag. lab., and wife Joan Tremain, aged 31, were living in Brill Leigh, Constantine. Present were daughter Ann (1), female servant Elizabeth Tresidder (20).

In 1851 William Tremayne, aged 35, born in Constantine, and wife Joan Tremayne, aged 41, born in Constantine, were living in Chegwidden, Constantine. Present were children (born in Constantine): Ann (11), Catherine (7), Grace (4), William (2), house servant Harriott Williams (22) of Wendron.

In 1861 William Tremayne, aged 46, born in Constantine, farmer of 52 acres, and wife Joan Tremayne, aged 51, born in Constantine, were living in Chegwidden, Constantine. Present were children (born in Constantine): Ann (21), Grace (14), scholar, Willm. (11), scholar, Cuthbert (9), scholar.

Present were daughter Ann Winn (51) of Constantine, widow, domestic housekeeper, grandchildren (born in Constantine): Elizabeth E. Winn (19), gen. servant (dom.), Cutbert T. (18), farm labourer.
