In 1851 Lavinia Rowe, aged 27, born in Camborne Cornwall, and husband James Rowe, aged 29, born in Mawgan Cornwall, copper miner, were living at Killivose Moor, Camborne. With them were children (born in Camborne): Jane (5), scholar, Grace (4), scholar, Lavinia (2), and James (11m).
On 29 Jan 1859, Jas. Rowe, aged 37, farmer, wife Levinia Rowe, aged 35, and children Jane (12), Grace (10), Levinia (9), James (8), Elis: (6), Phillip (5), John (3) and Hannibal (1), arrived in Melbourne Australia from Liverpool England aboard the ship Black Eagle. 3
