In 1901 Ellen M. Jenkin, aged 44, born in Redruth Cornwall, married, and daughter Catherine Jenkin (20) of Brazil (British subject), were with Ellen's widowed mother in Gladstone Terrace, Redruth.
In February 1911 Ellen Jenkin and her brother Charles Pearce were granted Administration of the goods &c of Ellen's late husband Frederick Jenkin.
In 1911 Ellen Martin Jenkin, aged 54, born in Redruth, widow, was with her brother Charles Edward Pearce and his family in Agar Terrace, Illogan Highway, Illogan, Cornwall.

ILLOGAN HIGHWAY.
Death.—The death has taken place at Broad Lane of Mrs. Ellen M. Pearce [sic], who had resided in the district for some years. Mrs. Pearce, who was the daughter of the late Mr. Edwin Pearce, a former well-known painter and decorator at Redruth, was about 74 years of age. She had been unwell for some time, but there being no response when the milkman called on Saturday morning an entrance was effected through the window, and she was found dead. Mrs. Pearce spent a number of years with her late husband, Mr. Fred Jenkin, who was battery superintendent on the Randfontein Estate. The funeral took place yesterday.
