Eldest son, drowned at Godrevy. 1

CORNWALL.
Melancholy Death by Drowning.—On Wednesday last, as Mr. Richard Glasson Vivian, eldest son of Mr. H. A. Vivian, of Camborne, was enjoying a picnic with some friends at Gwithian, he went into the sea to bathe, when a wave carried him out of sight, to be seen no more alive. His father was present, and narrowly escaped a watery grave in endeavouring to save him. The unfortunate young gentleman only returned from London on Monday last, having just completed his studies, and passed his examination as a surgeon.
