In 1861 Ellen F. Michell, aged 20, born in Phillack Cornwall, ship agent's wife, and husband James Michell, aged 30, born in Phillack, ship agent, were with Ellen's parents at West Villa, Phillack, Cornwall.
In 1871 Ellen F. Trerise, aged 30, born in Hayle Cornwall, and [2nd] husband James W. Trerise, aged 32, born in Constantine Cornwall, accountant, were living at 10 Clerk Terrace, Falmouth, Cornwall. With them was Ellen's sister Nannie Vivian (18) of Hayle, draper's assistant.
In August 1875 Ellen Freeman Trerise (wife of James Whitelock Trerise, merchant's clerk) of Falmouth, was co-executor of her mother's will.
In 1881 Ellen F. Trerise, aged 40, born in Hayle, and husband James W. Trerise, aged 42, born in Constantine, accountant, were at 10 Clerk Terrace, Falmouth. With them were Ellen's sister M[argaret] P[earce] Francis (26) of Hayle, married, and niece Sarah Nickels (11) of Hayle, scholar.

The Will of Ellen Freeman Trerise (wife of James Whitelock Trerise) late of Falmouth in the county of Cornwall, who died 5 January 1884 at Falmouth, was proved 18 February at Bodmin by the said James Whitelock Trerise of Falmouth, accountant, widower, the sole executor, Probate being granted under certain Limitations. Personal estate £5,532 0s. 7½d. 4
